Times Square Crossing Interactive Billboard
If you haven’t ever been to Times Square, I got two things to say:
1. What are you waiting for?!
and
2. Bring a cellphone.
By all means, see the sights, peek in the window of Good Morning America, and eat lunch at the Planet Hollywood, but when you’ve done all that and you’ve had your fill of all the non-interactive advertisements, whip out your phone and look for this:

This particular billboard, which Goodby, Silverstein & Partners enlisted our help to create for Sprint, allows pedestrians to brandish their phones and use their keypad to guide their character across a busy intersection in real time. As they play, a second player is free to jump in and race, all in the spirit of healthy New York competition.

You can also check out a live feed of Times Square here, and see who’s playing right now.
