Tinker!
Look, we’re pretty proud of the game we made for Vista Ultimate. Tinker is out there now getting a lot of great reviews, and we couldn’t be happier that people are enjoying our surreal puzzler.
If you’ve got Ultimate, and you haven’t had a chance to check it out, be sure to download it (warning: it’s highly addictive). And while you’re at it, create some of your own head-scratchers with our level editor.
As part of the game release, our superbly talented 3D and video teams have created a teaser trailer that gives a little taste of the type of trouble Tinker gets himself into in the game. I leave you with it, and with my very best wishes for the weekend.

Ls,
Just downloaded and played tinker, absolutely magnificent work.
Made some levels with the editor and put them on my website for download by other Tinker users.
I was wondering if this was not allowed for some reason. I read somewhere that they had to be submitted to Microsoft.
Is that the case?
Highest regards,
Machiel

I just downloaded Tinker from Microsoft Update. Very fun and addictive game. Having paid more money for Vista Ultimate, it’s nice to finally be getting my money’s worth.

I have a question - when you are trying to reset Tinker game to start how do you do this.? I have tried clearing the saved games and previous played games keep appearing? How is this done?

I love the game and would love to know if there is a soundtrack planned or existing for it. I love the type of music and would pay for a CD. Thanks.

I’ll add to the chorus about the soundtrack. It’s worth the download alone. Who created/performed it. It sounds like Riders in the Sky, or Time Jumpers

why is there no overhead view of tinker..too often there are parts of the board that are hidden no matter which of the four view one looks at..an overhead view option is needed to give perspective and show elements that are blocked by blocks..

The Games for Windows Live version of this game has a bug - Set 07, level 19 has a par energy of “-1″ and as a result you can’t get the achievement star for that level. So you can’t get the “Perfection Achieved” achievement in Games for Windows Live for getting the achievement star for all levels in the game.
Any chance this bug will be fixed?

I’ve gotten word from Microsoft and our dev team that the problem has been resolved–thanks for the heads up!
