The “Weekly” Link Dump
If you happened to notice that the “weekly link dump” seems to have skipped a week or two, I must apologize for the bad blog etiquette. To make it up to you, the links this week are extra juicy.
Some of them, you may have seen; others may startle and amuse you. Without further ado, let’s get going.
-Red Hot Sumo Playhouse!! Are you shocked and appalled? Well, this is just one of the fabulous random game titles generated by the Video Game Name Generator. It’s not only been a valuable brainstorming tool for our creative team, it’s also been a hell of a lot of fun.
-While we’re lucky enough to have our own sound studio and green screen room, not all filmakers have such resources at thier disposal. That’s where IndyMogul comes in. It’s got everything from stop-motion tips to how to make your actor’s face melt, like in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
-The last time I really perused AdFlip was for some research during university. Going back there now is even more entertaining. I suppose that as the amount of advertising we’re exposed to grows every day, it makes it that much more rewarding to go back and look at the classics. From 1940 and up, they’ve got you covered for a look back at our industry’s finest (and not so fine) moments.
-Looking through our case studies, you’ll notice that we’ve made a few racing games in our time, so it’s no surprise that we like cars. And we really like this morphable car by BMW. Geekologie has loads of pictures and a video. It is definitely worth your time to check out.
Thanks for watching, and we’ll be back next week (promise) with another load of great sites.

That is indeed the mother lode of all generators! Now, if the site could actually generate its own generators, then we’d have something…
