The Weekly Link Dump

BY: NICK IANNITTI  |  Weekly Link Dump

We’re back this Tuesday with another list of links that have been circulating around the studio. We though they were worth taking a look at, so maybe you will too.

Finding great independent animation is a fantastic way to be inspired to push our own art in original directions. Here is a visually remarkable short from Belgian filmmaker Mathieu Labaye. It’s a hearty length, but the animation really cuts loose (literally?) around the 4 minute mark.

-In the search for advancements in digital entertainment, we stumbled upon this tactile music generator. It’s known as the “reactable”, and was designed by a team at the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona. At first attempt, I will describe it as a mixing board blended with an iPhone.

-By the way, we were totally about to do this in our green screen room, honest, but we couldn’t decide whether to do the theme from level 1-1 or 1-2, so we just continued working instead.

-Don’t forget to check out our newest original property, All Girl Arcade. Stay tuned for a whole lot more information about that in the coming weeks.

Until next time!
