Flash In the Can, Toronto
It’s now 12 days and counting till one of my favorite design and technology conferences - FITC in Toronto. Both Julian and I will be giving presentations. Julian’s presentation - Creating the Next Generation Happy Meal Toy, will give an in-depth look at the process for the creation and deployment of Fairies and Dragons. His presentation is on Monday, April 21st at 11:30. If you ever wanted to see the process, challenges and solutions for a large scale project, this will definitely afford you that insight.
Strangely enough ( or maybe it’s oddly suitable…) my presentation falls under the business track and is entitled - Project Management from the Developer’s Perspective. It feels a bit like I’ve been given a license to do a one hour rant, yet, in bringing the materials together for the presentation, it’s starting to feel less cynical that I initially imagined it to be, and a bit more educational. I’m right before Julian - same day - 10:30 on the Monday morning. If anything, it should be entertaining.
I’m looking forward to many of the other presentations as well - from Hydra, to Thermo to Wii Installations… should be good.
As always, if you see Julian or me - don’t be shy, come up and say hi. He might bite, I won’t. ![]()
