For those of you about to rock…
If you’re going to be attending the Millenials Conference in Toronto during Canadian Music Week next week, be sure to look for Warren Tomlin on the “Gaming Generation” panel at 2:00 on March 5. To celebrate music week, my inside sources tell me that Warren is going to cap off the panel by playing the entire solo from November Rain on the electric cello. You may not have seen him don his signature top hat and leather pants, but trust me - that boy can shred.
2:00PM – 2:45PM • Panel 4
A Gaming Generation: Reaching Millennials through Games
The vast majority of Millennials, male and female, consider themselves to be gamers, a change from past generations who generally viewed gamers as a small number of hard-core players. This panel of advertising and games executives will discuss opportunities for brands and content owners to reach Millennials through games, virtual worlds and other game-like communities. How are brand marketers and their agencies navigating games, virtual worlds and social networks? What are the opportunities? How can savvy marketers connect with the Millennial mindset when it comes to games? What’s next in gaming and virtual worlds?
