Fuel t-shirts appearing in Second Life!

Chances are that a few of you guys or gals will be spending a portion of your first life in Second Life. Just for fun, I’ve produced some rather cool t-shirts that you can grab from numerous freebie locations across the SL world.
On the left my own avatar, Mr. McCaw, wears a Fuel Industries t-shirt with pride as he continues to ponder the existence of what he calls a ‘real world’. I have to say that the handsome guy looks a lot like me, only fitter and with more accurately groomed facial hair… and no bald spot atop his head.
The media hype may have calmed, but the inhabitants of Second Life show no signs of letting the party end. According to Reuters there are now over nine million avatars registered in Linden Labs Second Life, which is more than fifteen times the 600,000 figure released 12 months ago. Real world value? Earlier this year, a Linden Labs investor sold a 10 per cent stake for over $500 million (see the Reuters article in full here). In the 24 hours previous to my posting this, $1,063,606 made the leap from real-world US$ to Second Life L$.
Look out for the full-scale replica of our offices, baseball caps, jackets and thongs over the coming weeks. Just kidding!… Let’s just stick to t-shirts for now, eh?

Interestingly enough, people are actually picking them up and wearing them … not exactly hoards of people (I mean, we’re not taking over the Second Life world yet), but nonetheless there *are* random people wearing Fuel t-shirts wandering around the virtual world. I’m thinking we should produce an entire range of SL clothing … including ninja masks
