TED Talks
Certainly nothing new, but most definitely something I’ve been hooked on for the past couple of months, are the ” inspired talks by the worlds greatest thinkers and doers in the form of TED Talks that are available online. TED (Technology Entertainment Design) is conference held in California annually which initially was invitation only. Most of the seminars/discussions near an hour in length.
One of my personal favorites include Edward Burtynsky’s story of Manufactured Landscapes, where his photography focuses on how industrial development is actually changing the natural landscape of the earth. In terms of inspiration the David Kelly talk about human centered design and Sagmeister’s Happiness and Design talks are well worth checking out.
