And… we’re back.
So, a while back, I likened the change in website to a butterfly emerging from a chrysalis. Turns out, it’s more like a line-dancing alien bursting out of your chest in an interstellar diner. Frankly, things like that take care.
Truth is, we were ready to launch the site a few times, and each time, we took hard look at the site and asked ourselves if it was really cool enough to represent us. So, we went back to the drawing board, introduced some new creative, and asked ourselves the question again until we were satisfied that our new site had the requisite balance of cool and functional.
We’ve only just launched, and we’ve already got a lot of really good feedback from the people who have seen it. Of course, we’re going to be tweaking extensively for the first little while, so if you’ve got some constructive feedback on the new design, I’d love to hear it, either by email or in the comments.
You’ll also notice that we’ve rebranded ourselves. While this site used to reside on fuelgames.com, we’ve combined our two sites into one, and tied it all together under the tagline “branded entertainment evolved.” The tagline is a truer representation of what we really are – an entertainment company. True, we work with brands to ultimately help them increase their bottom line, but our first question on any project is “what is going to be entertaining to this audience?”
I’ll be talking a lot more about this transformation in the coming weeks, but for now, take a look around the site, see some of the work we’ve done in the past few months, and be sure to drop me a line if you have any suggestions.

I followed a link on Workopolis to your site while listening to internet radio. The sound effect you have on visiting the front page was three times louder than the music and scrared the crap out of me!
I like the colour scheme - muted red, black, grey and white. Though the font in the right column is a tad too small on Firefox. Welcome back!

Whoo-wee, same sound blast happened to me when I used my bookmark to drop by & see what’s new. My heart’s still stuttering. Nice re-work of the site.

Very professional site. Have you thought about getting in touch with Internet personalities? A perfect example is Odd Todd.
He goes by the real name of Todd Rosenburg the website chronicles his adventures of being unemployed. Back in 2001, Todd worked for Atom Films and was laid off. Since then the site has become extremely popular. The guy lives in Brooklyn, New York City, NY.
Two years ago, I got a chance to work with Todd during the production of a Flash game called “Mep Invaders” (the game isn’t up; there are some changes that need to be done). The game was supposed to be a spin-off of “Mep Wars” which wasn’t completed because the previous developers “dropped the ball”.
Take a look:
