This is one hell of a pool game

BY: RYAN ANDERSON  |  Fuel Projects

Now me, I’m not much of a gambling man, but there is something to be said for a friendly wager, so long as the stakes are right.  For instance, pool is always more interesting when you’re playing for an innocent woman’s immortal soul.  And, of course, it wouldn’t be a proper pool game if you weren’t allowed to use dark magicks to influence the outcome.

That’s why we were excited to launch “Soul Pool” as part of the promotional site for Sci Fi Channel’s Dresden, a show about a modern-day wizard / private detective who uses his supernatural powers and wry sense of humour to solve seemingly inexplicable crimes.

Before you begin the game, choose your offensive and defensive spells wisely, as they will be a major deciding factor in whether or not the girl gets to keep her soul.  Each has a different effect on the game.  For instance, the Gemini Dagger splits the cue ball into multiple copies of itself to hunt down and sink numerous balls.  On the defensive side, the Crystal Light (not to be confused with Crystal Lite) creates an impenetrable barrier over the pocket of your choice.

Think you’ve got what it takes to beat the devil?  Give it a try.
